Inn has been furnished with charming country collectibles, and
miniatures, country antiques, handmade family quilts, and other country pieces...
What separates Buttonwood Inn from most
Inns is its friendly, personal atmosphere and service -- and most notably, the breakfasts. A breakfast is served each morning, at 8:00,
and this isn't a continental breakfast! Innkeeper, Liz Oehser,
is a chef as well and having been in business since 1984, she
has perfected irresistible breakfasts ranging from country
cooking to gourmet. Included are such treats as Puffy Scrambled
Eggs, Soufflés, Eggs Benedict, Apple Sausage Rings, Baked Fresh
Peaches and Sausage, Poached Pears, Baked Bananas, Cinnamon Apples,
Stuffed French Toast, Homemade Country Biscuits, Coffee Cakes, a variety of homemade breads and muffins, and
Scones served with Lemon Butter. If you're lucky, you'll be
there on the mornings when she prepares her specialty....
"Liz's Special Dutch Babies"
the breathtaking mountain views during the fall season,
it's spectacular here during Autumn. Enjoy views
from a rocking chair on the deck of Dogwood and Rhododendron blooming abundantly during the spring.
Completely surrounded by tall pines the Buttonwood Inn, small
and cozy, will appeal to those who prefer country simplicity and
natural rustic beauty.
